Days of Caring 2019

We are looking for volunteers to give their time and talents to service projects during the United Way of Randolph County’s first Days of Caring. Days of Caring is an opportunity for people to donate a bit of time to help local nonprofit organizations complete needed work projects and to learn more about the needs of human service organizations in the Randolph County area. (Registration is closed for projects.)

On Friday, September 20th and Saturday, September 21st volunteers will kick off by meeting at 8 a.m. at Moberly Municipal Conference Room (next door to Parks and Recreation. There your team can rendezvous, pick-up t-shirts, enjoy coffee and a light breakfast, as well as get final instructions on project assignments.

Workplace Campaign Coordinators and other volunteers will be able to speak to a representative from our funded agencies. Agencies will have representatives there from 8 a.m. to noon on Friday. Materials from agencies will be available both days. Workplace Campaign Coordinators will also be able to pick up their campaign materials!

Participating is easy.  Here’s how:

  • Be a team leader within your business or organization.

  • Publicize the DOC event for Friday, September 20th and Saturday, September 21st internally and have people sign-up.

  • Register by Friday, September 6, 2019

  • You will be notified of your team assignments by September 16th.
